Chapter 151 will hold the Spring Luncheon Meeting, Saturday April 28th, 2007 at the German Canadian Club in Calgary. The program will be a talk by 17 year old Allison, VA6FLY, who visited the Johnson Space Centre near Houston Texas. It will be entitled “Flying High”. Our May 8th, 2004 meeting featured a presentation by a young grade 11 student Liz Ferguson, VA6LIZ, who spent two weeks at the Johnson Space Centre. Chapter 151 is also involved with encouraging interest in space travel by youth groups in Middle Schools who study amateur radio and contact astronauts on the International Space Station.

Charter Member John Erickson, VE6NB, is in the hospital in Lethbridge having tests. He was recently the recipient of a 75 year service plaque.
